Living in beautiful upstate NY we have the privilege of four seasons to enjoy. Now, sometimes those seasons seem short or, erm, LONGER (thanks winter) however, I find them all unique and gorgeous! My wonderful clients took advantage of the variety and did a mini session during each season. Not only did we document the growth of the children but we enjoyed the different landscapes. I am super grateful for my clients awesome ideas, outfits and overall awesomeness! So enjoy a tiny snippet from each season! Saratoga NY Family Photographer.
FALL
First up is fall, we took these pictures at the beautiful Riverview Orchards check out those amazing colors! We had so much fun and the girls were adorable!
WINTER
Next we have winter! I don’t know if you remember the big snowstorm we had in late 2020, almost 3 feet of snow in Clifton Park NY! We take what we can get when it finally snows, and it was quite the adventure trudging through the snow. Luckily we found a beautiful little spot and got some cute winter wonderland pictures! And this was right before little miss turned one year old!
SPRING
In the spring we went back to Riverview Orchards! It is such beautiful property that we can enjoy 2 separate landscapes in one location. This time we hung out in the apple blossoms and the dandelions.
SUMMER
For the summer we did something special and found a sunflower farm! She really wanted sunflower pictures, and I haven’t ever been to a sunflower farm so I was up for the adventure. It took sometime to crowd source places to go, honestly it was a bit tricky, I learned that sunflowers are at their peak for a short time, just like apple blossoms. Luckily I found a little gem, it was a bit of a drive but worth it. It is called Herrington Pumpkins, I couldn’t find a website but here is their facebook page. Hopefully they have it again next year, it was a great place for the value. $5 per person and you get to pick and take home 3 flowers each! Tip: WEAR BOOTS, it was muddy but had a lot of fun and it was beautiful!
That is a wrap! It is so fun watching these little girls grow throughout the year, and enjoy all the seasons with them.
