The last couple of days I have been editing a newborn session (which I am so excited to share soon!) And it made me reflect on the fact that my little baby is no longer a newborn and that time is moving at whirl wind speed because he will be 4 months on Sunday! Then, I remembered I never shared Oliver’s wonderful newborn pictures taken by my amazingly talented friend Jessica Washburn. These pictures are so important to me because not only do I get to be in some pictures (that is a rarity!) but I had ZERO energy to take pictures of him myself. I really love Oliver’s Birth Story but since I developed preeclamsia at the end of my pregnancy and all the procedures to get him out I was exhausted to the core, and it was by far the hardest recovery I have had giving birth.
I am so happy/elated/grateful I have these pictures of my sweet little family with our newest addition, especially the ones of me and Oliver. I will cherish them forever, it brings tears to my eyes going through them now. Thank you, times a million, Jessica! Oh and she took pictures of Lily as a newborn you can see them here and here.
Photography is important, just saying 🙂
